Quincy Youth Achievement Awards

Periodically the Coalition will recognize youth in the Quincy area as one who:

    1)  Promoted a healthy lifestyle - one that is alcohol and drug free

    2)  Acted as a positive role model

    3)  Volunteered time in the community and/or at school

    4)  Exhibited personal integrity through everyday activities.  This is what is

          called “Doing What You Know Is Right, Even When Nobody Is Looking”.

 

Eligibility:  To be nominated a youth must . . . . .

     1)  Live, work, or attend school in the Quincy Valley (defined by the 98848 and    

           98824 zip codes)

    2)  Be at least 12 years old, but not yet 21 years old when nominated

 

Who may nominate a youth for this award:

    Any adult in the community who has first-hand knowledge of the youth and his

     or her achievements.  Parents are asked to contact someone else in the

     community if they wish to have their child considered.
